The Verve Remixed compilations have long been a favorite on Indie Shuffle, with interesting remixes of soul and jazz classics from the label's back catalogue.

The series has recently been resurrected with the release of Verve Remixed - The Leading Ladies, which, as the title suggests, features remixes either of original female vocal tracks -- the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone -- or, in this case, with the remix coming from a female producer.

The producer in question is TOKiMONSTA, whose remix beefs up the original into a vaguely trap-based template, with the addition of chilled synths and a nice use of the original's saxophone sample.
