It must be a pretty difficult decision to start a career as a Melbourne electronic artist, given the overwhelming quantity/quality of talent the city is producing at the moment. That said, people are paying so much attention to that part of the world, there's always room for talented acts to make a name for themselves.
One of those starting to cause some waves is producer/vocalist Stahsi. Having built a reputation over the past few years as a renowned DJ throughout the Melbourne club scene, he's begun the process of carving himself out a niche on the back of his solo work.
He already caught our attention on "Window Washer," his collaboration with fellow Melbourne producer London, and now has debuted his latest work "Come With Me." Another collab (this time with Adam from Sydney duo Worldlife), this one's an effortlessly smooth and smoky sample of Stahsi's significant potential. His dark, yearning vocals could not suit this type of music any better, and provide an interesting point of difference that will no doubt set him apart from some of his peers.
