Why do we like this?

Regular readers may remember the excellent deep house meets Latin re-edit we posted a few weeks back.

Part of the Persies series, it gave a gentle re-touch to a classic of yesteryear, and a release from the preceding Persies001 does the same thing with St. Germain's classic "Thank U Mum."

Once again, London duo Krywald & Farrer are behind the retouch, and once again, the results are excellent, with the original 13 minute track retooled into a darker, leaner seven minute groover.

Like before, the edits are sold out on Bandcamp, but it's worth checking the Discogs Marketplace for a copy - just be prepared for a hefty price tag to go with it!
