Why do we like this?

I'm a bit late to the Spooky Black club, but I'm glad I got myself a membership, 'cause damn!

Corbin Smidzik is a young, up-and-coming R&B singer from Minnesota who I think is definitely trolling most of the time. In all but his music, that is.

Durags, turtlenecks, and gold chains seem to be a quick summary of his style -- but despite how off-putting that may be, this guy makes some great R&B. The fact that I'm so in love with this track, and it's an INTRO, makes it all the more ridiculous.

Produced by Curtis Heron and The Stand4rd, ethereal instrumentals with simple lyrics all sung in a melting R&B vocal make up the 2:42 minute intro. Once I stop repeating it, I should probably check out the rest of the EP.
