Sounds like:
Lemonade,
Tanlines,
Chad Valley,
Moon Boots
Why do we like this?
Poolside's daytime disco has been on repeat on my iPod lately. I really dig the debut album Pacific Standard Time.
The duo (Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise) also have a knack with covering songs, too. Last year we heard them cover Neil Young's "Haverest Moon." This time they're at it again with Spike's "Magic Table." Poolside's cover makes this 1983 song sound current and hip. It definitely fits in with their daytime disco theme.
