Why do we like this?

Spectric is a production project of Portland-based Hunter Streit. Some of my favorite work of his was an Arrient remix from a while ago, unrelated however from this piece. This is an older track, though one he hadn't released until a week ago.

I think the neatest aspect of Summit is that much of it is based around samples of foley work. Along with a spacious atmosphere, it has a neat depth of sound lent by the sample choice. They give the track feel natural amidst its rhythmic glitches, washing synths, and anxious keys.
