I was sent this track by brand new Glastonbury production duo SpeakmanSound this week, and although I have honestly no clue how to aptly describe it, I simply fell head over heels in love with it. (Please excuse any mislabelling in the related artists!)
"In Flight" is a little bit vulnerable in the vocal quality, euphoric in its production, and possesses textured, almost African inspired rhythms which make the entire track feel whimsical.
Reminiscent of the innocence Adrian Lux's "Teenage Crime" brought to the EDM scene, the brothers Todd and Guy Speakman combine U.K. bass music with atmospheric production elements, a hint of experimental house, and an immensely catchy hook by close friend and collaborator Sharky.
Looking forward to hearing more from these guys!
