Why do we like this?
Premiering here on Indie Shuffle, Austin indie rock band SPEAK is back with a new jam called "Be Reasonable, Diane." The track follows up their last single, "Peaks," which was easily was one of my favorite tracks of 2013. The band have also just announced that they will be going on a spring supporting tour with RAC, which should be an awesome one-two punch show.
"Be Reasonable, Diane" has a bright and poppy vibe to get you in that feel-good mood. I think these guys are definitely on to something good, with characteristics of Ra Ra Riot and Vampire Weekend all while standing out with their own original taste.
SPEAK will be releasing their full-length album later this year, and if singles "Peaks" and "Be Reasonable, Diane" are the indicators of how the rest of the album will sound, then hold on to your horses - it should be a good one!
