There is much in a name, even simple little nicknames we have for our loved ones. I totally realize that couples have the ability to cause retching in people around them when they do it, but there might not be anything better than hearing someone you love call you by that name, as they totally melt you with only a few syllables. Is there a better sign of love? Well, Spark Alaska has the answer.
The singer-songwriter is at it again with his brand new track "Little Ears." While he's already released the first single "Aloe Vera" off his brand new album (Longest Winter which is set to be released on May 10th), this new track is an honest revelation of brand new love.
Spark Alaska taps into those feelings created by all those little things that come with a new relationship, but can totally turn your life around. All over those simple but beautiful strumming acoustic guitar that Spark Alaska has made his own, while adding just a few small elements like whistles, tiny bits of piano, and bird chirping to help convey what going on in his heart.
Check back on Spark Alaska's Bandcamp page to get the new album on May 10th (or score it on tape here), and if you haven't downloaded his debut you can take care of that too. Just don't forget to leave a tip, or come up with a cute little pet name. It's totally up to you.
