Why do we like this?

I can't say I'm familiar with either of these acts, but the track is just so damned groovy that I couldn't help but agree to a premiere request.

Osmo comes from Upsalla in Sweden, a town that I am familiar with because I spent ~3 hours in their migration office waiting to get a Schengen Visa back in 2013. It's a pretty nice town, and clearly they've got some talent from the musical side.

The track in question is a remix of Soul Gem's "Santa Fe," released roughly six months ago. The original version saw the Oslo/New York duo of Omar Elgarh & Tobias Gautier Teigen pump out some fantastic electro-funk a la Chromeo, so it seems the tempo lent itself well to Osmo's approach.

Net-net, a solid remix.
