Why do we like this?

It's freaking me out a bit to realize that it's literally been one year since I last went to bat for French producer SOUDIERE. Last year, I did a small write up for a ridiculous track titled "PILLS." This year I'm throwing my support behind "EMPTY CLIPS," another phonk-filled venture from one of the leading bedroom producers of Generation Z.

I think any title or lyricism (even in chopped/screwed sample form) about gunplay is a bit whack now that it's nearly 2018. So really more than anything I am giving some much deserved attention to the flute and saxophone swirling throughout the track's three minute runtime.
