Why do we like this?

No lie, I compared Soto Voce to Radiohead because I figured it would draw a few more ears and eyeballs to this post.

This fresh Oakland duo, as in less-than-10-SoundCloud-followers fresh, does emit Radiohead-like vibes in both production and melody, but even a casual listen to debut single "Better" indicates that there's more at play here. 

Soto Voce's singer, known only to me as Kenny,  told me that the duo have recorded an EP. This means there's more Soto Voce lurking in the shadows, waiting to emerge and make our summer playlists better.
