Why do we like this?

"I go so fast, make sure it lasts" are the last lyrics of "Pivot & Scrape" —the title track from Sophie Thatcher's upcoming EP. Those final moments alone will get stuck in your head in the best way possible.

Thatcher's music so far has demonstrated the beautiful contrast that can come from music. In her own words she said the song came from "recurring dreams about throwing myself into glass." That painful and haunting concept is played over a very relaxing and mesmerizing beat mixed with Thatcher's calming voice.

"Pivot & Scrape" is one that you could put on repeat and get a different experience with every subsequent listen.
