Why do we like this?

I'm am beyond ecstatic that Sondre Lerche is back with new music!

After a decade of following his music and releases, he's still got it. As Sondre drifts into a new experimental stage, his fearless approach yields a new yet still approachable sound that he can call his own.

"Sentimentalist" is an open and raw ballad that exposes the darker side of love and loss, honestly addressing the soured aspects of a failed relationship. The swirling piano swells around the echoing vocals as the gritty, drawn-out electric guitar plays a tug-of-war with the innocent sounding acoustic guitar.

I have a feeling that Sondre Lerche's upcoming album, Please (out on 9/23), is going to be one of epically cathartic proportions.
