Why do we like this?

Forgive me if I'm biased here, but the fact that SOL GEMS are from South Africa (where I'm from) has me quite excited about the quality of this song.

"Echo Eyes" surely takes some inspiration from psychedelic greats Tame Impala, but it adds so much more to the conversation. Slick riffs, an upbeat tempo, sharp twists and turns; it's everything a modern-day indie rock track needs.

The song comes off the band's album Lapis Lazuli, available for streaming on Spotify.
