Why do we like this?

This is old, mi scusi. Just imagine if we abandoned our past though. We'd forget important events like World War II and the inaugural CrossFit Games. 

Dates are important, and so is age, however we needn't allow either to dictate what we want to do in the present. They may influence, but not dictate. 

For instance, "Never Come Back Again" can't stop me from stealing this lady's purse, but I can listen along while I do it.
