Hearing you plenty! Sofi Tukker is everywhere right now. What a huge rise to prominence this duo from Brooklyn has enjoyed in recent times.
They're off to the Grammys next month after securing their first ever nomination for Best Dance Recording. As if that's not enough, they're set to play sets at some of the biggest festival stages this year—both at Coachella and NYC's Panorama festival later this summer. Watch also for their North America tour that just got announced for later this spring.
I was hooked on these guys very early on, when I first heard their debut track "Drinkee." It stands out as one of my most favorite tracks of 2015. It's this track that got them the Grammy nod. I hope they win it!
Grammy's aside, Sofi Tukker is back for 2017 with this track "Johnny." It's dark, seductive, and if you're wondering the language the opening lines are in, this track is sung in both English and Portuguese.
