Why do we like this?

Her first release of 2017, native New Zealander So Below - Madeline North - is back with a new single that hints at her upcoming debut self-titled EP.

"Ruin" owns the "goth pop" genre, merging electro-pop with dark, moody synth beats and processed vocals to create a dance-y yet sonically-heavy single.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I like "Ruin" so much when it was was co-written and co-produced with Brad Hale of Now, Now and Sombear. I'm keeping my ears peeled for new music from both North and Hale.
