Why do we like this?

It seems like 2 years ago a new Sohn track was popping up every couple of weeks to feed my appetite for moody electro pop, the dark cousin of synth pop that I feel is criminally underrepresented, if only because my appetite for it is pretty insatiable.

But it's been a while since we've heard anything from him! Fortunately, there are a few others stepping in to fill the void, like Snowdrifts, who premiered his first track here last year. Though there isn't much info on Snowdrifts online, I can attest that it is one guy and he is from beautiful BC! 

Looming is his third release, and by the time the epic bridge rolls around, you'll agree it's probably his best.
