Here we have another hidden charm: Snowblink. This Toronto via SoCal duo has released a single from their sophomore LP entitled "Unsurfed Waves," and it's the kind of tune that gets stuck in your head for many good reasons.
This track is dainty and softly energetic, with its intertwining bass & guitar, tip-toed drums, and female/male harmonies. On top of that, the reverberated effects gives everything that luscious sound. This is a song that sounds great stripped down or amplified with a choir and orchestra. It's versatile, sophisticated and fleeting. You may feel the need to listen to it on repeat.
I'd keep an eye on Snowblink if I were you. They're surely on the up and up, what with opening for Feist and all. All of this just in time for their sophomore LP, Inner Waves.
