Snail Mail Pristine

Snail Mail’s upcoming album, Lush, is due out soon, and the singles that have come out have really cemented the highly anticipated LP at the top of a lot of people’s lists of releases to hear the moment they comes out. I know it’s on mine.

“Pristine” is the first track I listened to and am absolutely smitten with it. Lindsey Jordan sound a little like label mate, Julien Baker, with a happier twist, but the vulnerability and vivid lyricism are definitely there. I also feel some Sonic Youth vibes coming on as she strums her guitar.

This songs is fantastic, as are the others you can check out before the album drops. I don’t know about you, but to me June 8th seems like a long time to wait. I’ll just have to listen to this over and over again.
