Why do we like this?

Boston-based Small Talk have a lot going for them. They're college-aged musicians with palpable work ethics and enough gall to stretch out their sonic boundaries in organic, exciting ways.

"Undercover," which features the intoxicating synthesizer work of Chris Vu, is a steady progression for Small Talk, who fiddled with psychedelic pop last year on "Brothers" and "Retrogradient." Like a needle on a record, these dudes have found their groove.

"Undercover" is the first single off of Small Talk's forthcoming EP.
