Why do we like this?

It's a treat to hear new Small Talk music so soon into the new year. The Boston indie rockers never shy away from experimentation, whether it's trying on some psychedelic duds, dabbling in some shoegaze, or as is the case with "Clementine," enlisting vocalists Katie and Meghan Kelleher to add some appreciated heft to their particular style of indie rock.

"Clementine," as described by the band, is an allegory of early adulthood, capturing the "tug-of-war between nostalgia and impending doom while remaining optimistic." I mean, if that doesn't sum up early adulthood these days in America, then, fuck, nothing does.

Press play and catch some feels.
