I've been a big fan of Chicago-based Slow No Wake for a while now, searching for lost parts of myself while "Everyone Needs Someone" and "Ghosts, Pt. 2" rattle around in my head.
Slow No Wake, or Adam Rensch if you're feeling friendly, draws me in right away on new demo "Noah, Pt. 1." The guitar strum, the celestial synth patterns, the hand claps—oh yeah, the hand claps—all come together beautifully, and before I know it, five and a half minutes have passed.
Look for "Noah, Pt. 1" on Slow No Wake's forthcoming album. In the meantime, take a swim through Adam's SoundCloud page.
