Why do we like this?

La fin du monde is French for "really good fucking beer." Okay, so it's actually French for "the end of the world," which, if true, sucks because that means we're running out of time to enjoy Slow No Wake's new EP.

"La Fin du Monde" is a slow-burning standout on the six-track Which Beast? EP, available now on Bandcamp. Chicago-based Slow No Wake has a keen ear for the kind of earthy dream pop usually cooked up in Brooklyn bedrooms and basements.

I hope we get to enjoy more of Slow No Wake's reverberant guitar magic before the eventual heat death of the universe.
