Why do we like this?
It's been just under two months since we premiered Ohio artist Slow No Wake's standout dream pop track, "The Tides."
Slow No Wake, better known as Adam Rensh if you frequent Twitter, is an intriguing musician who's gaining deserved visibility as of late from a number of reputable music blogs, including GoldFlakePaint.
I've been meaning to hype "Ghosts, pt. 2" since the day I first heard the slow, enchanting tune. As Slow No Wake explained to me a few days ago, the lyrics of "Ghosts, pt. 2" stem from Adam's father's journal, specifically reflecting on a period when he was dealing with the loss of his wife.
For more emotional, dream pop goodness, check out Slow No Wake's debut album in full on Bandcamp.
