Slow Magic is a bit of mystery. The band's Twitter handle and Facebook page both describe the artist as "the sound made by an unknown imaginary friend."
We featured the first single "Girls" from new album How To Run Away in June, and today the next track is ready for your listening pleasure.
"Hold Still" starts with slow synthesizing sounds intertwinedwith glitch pop. A jazz piano fusion comes in midway, followed by smooth male vocals repeating the phrase "hold still." Upward synths bring a glitch-wave vibe to conclude this awesome track.
Slow Magic's album, How To Run Away, is due for release September 9 via Downtown Records. Pre-order it here. The band will also be touring in Europe in August and North America in September. Check out their website for tour dates and ticket information.
