Why do we like this?

It's always a delight (and often a surprise) to enjoy the opening band at a gig so much, and Sløtface had me smiling from the start of their recent support set for Los Campesinos! in Glasgow. 

The only way to prep for a Los Camps show is to dance your heart out so you're already a little exhausted and ready to cry when the moment comes (I'd been waiting long time for this, okay), and after hearing Sløtface, I can think of no one better for the challenge.

"Magazine" is their latest, and it really encapsulates just how stinkin' cute and fun these guys are-- easy to jump in to, even easier to dance to, and with a chorus about Patti Smith. Now that's what indie rock has been missing.
