Why do we like this?

The only good thing about one of my friends living in Australia (besides her happiness, I guess) is the music she sends me as an attempt to convince me to move there. 

I don't think I would ever move just to be with someone, but this new Sloan Peterson is exactly my type – alt rock with a 60s girl-group twist. Exactly what I imagine The Shangri-Las would sound like if they ditched their loser motorcycle boyfriends, time travelled, and decided that they needed a bit of an updated and edgier sound for 2017.

That's a world I want to live in all the time, so if Sloan Peterson keeps dropping such infectious tracks and I do end up in Australia soon, don't be surprised.
