Why do we like this?

The latest Toronto local, making waves with moody, neo-soul productions, is youngster Sloan Evans. Following on from the success of the trap-pop single "On Me" Evans' latest is a much more downtempo jam.

Produced by 1Mind (the mastermind behind French Montana's "Unforgettable") "Fallback" is full of creeping dread as Evans alternates between singing and rapping. 1Mind's minimal beat sets the scene for Evans auto-tuned hook and free flowing raps.

Very similar in sound to fellow Canadian's Roy Wood$ and PARTYNEXTDOOR, Evans is creating hazy, soulful music ideal for late night drives or soundtracking a night in with that someone special.
