Why do we like this?

Instagram recently decided to ban the term #EDM – and to be frank, I'm ecstatic about that. Misclassifying an artist is pretty damn annoying, and unfortunately a shockingly frequent occurrence.

Granted we're all humans, and we're just calling it as we see it, but Skylar Spence is *not* defined by "vaporwave." Skylar *is* one of the most-driven, unique artists to hit the blogosphere.

Recently he kicked off a North American tour, and I'm pretty stoked to see what his live performance will be like. The moment I heard his song Fiona Coyne, I fell in love with the new direction, and every track since has been next level. I just can't wait to hear it live.
