Austrian producer Cid Rim amazes again with his stunning remix of Sky Ferreira's "You're Not The One." From his self-titled album to his more recent Mute City EP, along with several other remixes along the way, Cid Rim has proved why he is a forced to be reckoned with in the global electronic music scene.
At the same time, he is one of the best live acts that I've ever had the privilege of witnessing; he recently played here in South Africa, and it blew my mind! His style and skill are constantly pushing the boundaries of modern music, but his tracks are still easy for anyone to listen to, unlike many experimental producers.
On a previous post, I commented that 123Mrk had the most distinct style in the current music landscape; I had forgotten about Cid Rim, and I should probably retract that statement. If this track captures your intrigue even in the slightest then I would suggest exploring his other music.
