Why do we like this?
I was waffling on the idea of posting a Christmas song today, and in the process stumbled upon this great collaboration between Sky Ferreira and Ariel Pink.
The song "My Molly" was originally recorded by Ariel Pink way back in 1998, at the tender age of 19. He released it on an EP in 2006 (titled My Molly), and perhaps didn't imagine much more would come of it.
Flash forward 7 years and he's teamed up with Sky Ferreira, who has had some questionable run-ins with the law as of late. Together they've channeled a bit of a grunge vibe -- one that for some reason or the other leads me to want to brand them as junkies. Regardless of drug use, I'm really digging this one.
