Swedish songstress, Skott, is building quite the respirate of tracks with the release of soaring new single, "Mermaid."
Having already impressed with a string of singles including the funky guitar lead "Lack Of Emotion," heavenly uplifting "Porcelain" and finger clicking piano ditty "Wolf," this latest track has the gothic appeal of Lana Del Rey.
Possessing a mighty falsetto, Skott's dulcet tones float majestically over the piano-meets-electronic production of "Mermaid," her first release in just under six months.
I can't get enough of Skott or this track, and if she keeps dropping music this good, it's only a matter of time before she's a household name.
Special mention must be made of the outstanding artwork for the single cover that continues the designs seen on her previous singles.
