The streak continues. At this rate, it may never end.
Skizzy Mars (in conjunction with Penthouse Music) released yet another innovative, sample-based hip hop track telling tales of fleeting beauties, over crowded NYC clubs, druggie evenings, and generalized dreamer's wisdom ("I spit philosophy, the black Socrates"), all which continues to resonate with his loyal fans across the globe. These Skizzy-ites seem to stay on the edge of their desk chairs, waiting eagerly in front of their computer screens for any and every track from their philosophical leader.
Anyone who reads my posts knows how bullish I am on the kid's art, so for once I'll let the fans speak. Here's a handful of comments in less than 24 hours on SoundCloud:
"Don't ever stop making tracks like this, Skizz."
"You can always count Skizzy for that good vibe shit."
"Skizz doin big ole things. Always dope. Michael [Keenan] kills though."
"Smoothest out there."
Nothing more to say. Just listen.
