Skaters are heading back to their DIY roots after leaving Warner Bros. Records in late 2015.
Instead of wallowing in what could and should have been, the group decided to let their music do the talking by heading back to the studio with a creative fervor.
Their newest single "Head On To Nowhere" is a booming post-punk thumper that hangs on the big guitar sounds that made Skaters such a tour de force when they debut in 2012.
These NYC kids appear to be back to their old selves, having embraced their newfound independence, which has us excited.
Stay tuned in and keep listening, as 2016 is sure to be a big year for this trio.
