Why do we like this?

Almost two years ago, an unknown band by the name of Sir Sly approached me with a new single. They wouldn't say who they were, and I had a sneaking suspicion that the lead singer was in fact Mark Foster of Foster The People.

Turns out I was wrong, but that's probably a good thing. Why? Because it means we continue to get to hear new music from Foster The People, while at the same time enjoying something completely different from Sir Sly.

"You Haunt Me" is the first new track to be released by the band off their debut LP You Haunt Me, and clearly marks a return to the forefront of the blogosphere. Rather than fall into the rut of something slower / more sad, the band have clearly taken a more-poppy approach, the net result of which I'm pretty confident will pay off nicely.

If you dig it, be sure to grab your pre-order of the album here.
