Over the last few months, the once mysterious indie rock/pop band from SoCal, Sir Sly, has emerged and are giving us new tunes that we have all been waiting for. The results, which included the tracks "Ghost" and "Easy Now," have been creating a buzz around the blogosphere. And I'm still tripping out that the lead singer isn't Mark Foster, the lead singer of Foster The People, but I will survive...
Now, Australian pop outfit Gold Fields takes a swing at remixing one of Sir Sly's newer tracks, "Gold." What was once a downtempo, less catchy track has now been made into the complete opposite. With the tables flipped, the remix is now that uptempo, dancey track that should turn that frown upside down.
