Why do we like this?

Wow. Wow wow. Wow wooo ow ow wow.

It's always amazing to watch bands evolve, and I gotta say that the change in sound on Sir Sly's newest song "Altar" totally knocked my socks off (as if the opening sentence didn't make that obvious).

Someone in the YouTube comments pointed out that this was Sir Sly's "Ultralight Beam," a reference to the song off Kanye West's Life Of Pablo. Admittedly, it ain't so far off. But I might have expected that from Kanye, whereas I certainly wasn't expecting this from Sir Sly.
