Why do we like this?

I'm a fan of Fleet Foxes, but sometimes their music gets a little bit slow and far-out for my taste.

Fortunately Simon XO seems to have solved that problem on his latest single "Give You What You Gave," which reminds me of the aforementioned band but keeps things moving a little bit faster.

The song appears on the US singer-songwriter's recently released double-side EP by the same name, accompanied by a single titled "California Love."
