Almost six years have passed since Silversun Pickups released Carnavas, and to this day, whenever I hear the song "Lazy Eye" pop up I cant help but feel the desire to listen through the full album.
The track enjoyed massive mainstream success, hitting #5 on the US Modern Rock chart in 2007, and featuring on practically every alternative radio station throughout the United States. Net result? 350,000+ album sales.
From my side, I recall that the first reaction of most listeners was: "wait, is that a boy or a girl?" Things generally clear up around the 3-minute mark, but it was always funny to watch the through process.
