Why do we like this?

Silk Rhodes is comprised of two women, one producer and one vocalist, who make music that sounds beautifully heartbroken. Minimal but still full, this shit hits you in the heart. 

"Pains" is their first single, delivered via 45rpm vinyl courtesy of their label, Stones Throw. The acclaimed L.A. indie label will produce a full-length from the duo sometime soon.
