Northern Ireland outfit Silences has just had their new single "There's A Wolf" go up online, following its premiere on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show a couple of days ago.
The band blends a multitude of genres into one, gorgeous track, starting off with with folky acoustic guitars and slowly building up into a sort of indie rock vibe. Singer-songwriter Conchúr White's vocals are wonderfully breathy and light, complementing both the quieter moments in the song, but still managing to not sound out of place when the track goes slightly crazy at the end.
Silences has received critical acclaim for their two previous EPs Nevernames and Sister Snow -- both stunning, both very worth your time (I say as I repeat them for the third time today)..
This single was released along with announcement that their new EP Luna will be released April 15, 2016. Keep up to date with them on Facebook and SoundCloud for more news on that.
