Why do we like this?

Shy Luv is Sam Knowles (aka Karma Kid) and Jake Norman (aka Armeria) and they're a perfect example of what a winning relationship can make.

Shy Luv is beyond a hybrid of their individual styles- it's an entity born of its own right.

"Joyrider" is the glowing single from their forthcomingShock Horror EP (the whole of which isas unexpected and diverse as the culmination ofinterests between these two). And while I hate to make boxy comparisons, in the context of "Joyrider," Metronomy comes to mind again and again. The spectrum of sounds feel nostalgic while remaining shiny and new.

Take a joy ride with Shy Luv and settle into cool vinyl, a soft breeze, and plenty of scenery.
