Shy Hunters may just be one of my new favorite bands. These Brooklynites bring a free flowing and eclectic style to indie rock that is a unique mix of old and new.
Their single, "Stained Glass House," lays a simply orchestrated foundation to sweetly complement the soaring vocals that lead this track. It's uplifting, a little haunting and slightly melancholy. This song is one of those tracks that remind you of something you've heard before but you can't put your finger on it. It brings you to a comforting place.
Shy Hunters is not a band to pass up. They've got a string of shows coming up on the East Coast, and don't forget to get their 7"!
