Why do we like this?

Covers seem to be all the rage on Indie Shuffle currently, so here's another for your listening pleasure, courtesy of the alluring Haim sisters. The trio's laid back take on Sheryl Crow's 90s hit, "Strong Enough," was recorded for Australian radio station Triple J's Like A Version, a similar concept to the BBC's Live Lounge.

This is an eclectic cover that retains the originality of Crow's version while adding a touch of Haim's own sound. Synths replace the opening riff, before an extended guitar solo anchors the middle stanza, with the sister's breezy harmonies drawing things to a close.

Just another example of why Haim is one of 2013s most exciting new acts.
