So I've got no clue what a Shelf Nunny is, but I know one thing: saying it aloud is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face -- just like this track from the Seattle-based producer.
"Wishful Thinking" is filled with good vibes, as a funky organic sounding bass line sets the tone for what seems like an auditory walk through a neighborhood on a beautiful spring day.
Synthesizers hit like sunshine, and I can't help but be oddly reminded of the likes of the Beta Band and Skee-Low all at the same time. It all comes together, making you feel good.
You can check out the track on Shelf Nunny's debut EP of the same name due out on January 22nd care of Hush Hush Records.
