Why do we like this?
Shearwater have given a sneak peek at their new album Animal Joy, releasing a track over on NPR.

This will be their 8th studio album, and is due on February 14th via Sub Pop records. The band are notable for their epic folk rock, and I expect that this new album will not disappoint fans of their prior work, including The Golden Archipeligo.
