Why do we like this?
With a sound I've termed "Caribou-esque," it's no wonder that Parisian up-and-comers Shawondasee are getting recognized after their second release "Gems of Pure Light."
Influenced by artists like The Strokes, Tame Impala, and Beach House, "Gems of Pure Light" is an electro-infused indie anthem that will have you intrigued from the get-go, and I think it absolutely begs for an energetic live show.
The two-piece comprised of keyboardist POG and singer Jim Calamel are well on their way to releasing their first EP in a month, so if you like what you're hearing stay tuned via their Facebook and SoundCloud.
