Why do we like this?

Just ahead of the release of their first album since 2015’s Gone by the Dawn, Shannon & the Clams have treated fans with “The Boy,” an outstanding track that should attract some new followers as well as please old ones.

The combination of 50’s girl group sound and 60’s surf rock is intriguing and impossible not to be drawn into. When I hear this song I’m reminded of “Sleep Walk,” but with more edge and a bit of Dick Dale. Turn this one up and hit repeat…
